A super good quality polished Dendritic Agate Merlinite Slab. It is known by many names, common opal, opalite, dendritic agate and Merlinite for the more poetic among us. This is old stock and really is a better quality than most available at present, with some transparency. An Atalantisite Serpentine Stichtite Rock to add to your collection or for jewel. We reckon this beautiful Aussie stone is under appreciated! It features an unusual combination of bright green and deep purple colouring throughout. This rock has a good amount of deep purple stichtite to green serpentine. Pale green in colour and grinded on one side to reveal its beauty. A valuable and stunning Aussie gem stone, regarded as the best of the Chalcedony family. This piece is from Queensland. Nickel is what makes this stone green colour.
A gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) that contains small quantities of nickel. Its color is normally apple green, but varies to deep green.
