Beautifully simple Sparkling Pyrite Crystals with very reflective faces. Great addition for mineral, metals or pyrite collections. The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is an iron sulfide which has the chemical formula FeS2. This mineral’s metallic luster and brass yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool’s gold. Interestingly Pyrite does not attract a magnet. This specimen comes from a premier location and sports a mini cave cavity right through.
Dimensions:
5.5cm x 4.6cm x 3.6cm, 124g.

Madan, Bulgaria.
A beautiful Vera Cruz Amethyst Crystals cluster! One of those crystals you know the location of as soon as you see it. Delicately coloured, well terminated and with some small crystals and Calcite Quartz matrix. Treat yourself. This Vera Cruz Amethyst shows the triagonal habit of this quartz, with three of the 6 sides much larger than the other three, giving a triangular look to it.
Amethyst: A purple variety of quartz. The colour is caused by iron (Fe4+) impurities.

Sharp terminations featuring Tabular and Prismatic crystals with splendid vitreous faces. The Electric Blue color is amazing so I took two backlit pics. All round an outstanding Top Shelf specimen. This location has closed and this quality is becoming very hard to come by. Mounted on a perspex display pad for enhanced display.

A great looking Vanadinite Cluster. Known for its hexagonal shaped crystals and burnt orange colouring. Quite an unusual colour among minerals and often on a white matrix, as this one is. This cluster has great crystals of classic Vanadinite, sits well on two sides and will make a great display specimen in someones mineral collection. Pics taken with good sun light make the crystals look bright orange.
Dimensions:
9.2cm x 4cm x 6.6cm, 248g.
