Beautiful chunky Chrysoprase Rough Large stone. An amazing colour for a rough stone, once polished it will be quite striking. Usually reserved for Jewellers, quality specimens like this are hard to come by and attract high prices. A great Aussie Gemstone. Showing stunning colour of Apple Green and good form. Chrysoprase, chrysophrase or chrysoprasus is a gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) that contains small quantities of nickel. Its best color is normally apple-green, but varies to deep green. The darker varieties of chrysoprase are also referred to as Prase. This material was fossicked many years ago, the location is now closed for fossicking and local sales.

CHRYSOPRASE AUSSIE ROCK. This stone is not polished and is ready to be worked a little more and finished for a beautiful pendant or other jewellery piece. You could even leave it rough as a specimen. Pale green in colour and grinded on one side to reveal its beauty. A valuable and stunning Aussie gem stone, regarded as the best of the Chalcedony family. This piece is from Queensland. Nickel is what makes this stone green colour.

An Atalantisite Serpentine Stichtite Rock to add to your collection or for jewel. We reckon this beautiful Aussie stone is under appreciated! It features an unusual combination of bright green and deep purple colouring throughout. This rock has a good amount of deep purple stichtite to green serpentine. When cut and polished it will look absolutely stunning. A solid specimen with good colour ready for Lapidary work. Pics taken outside in natural sunlight, some wet some dry.
