PINK RHODONITE SPHERE
Beautiful Pink Rhodonite Sphere for sale with great colour. The lovely Pink is the Rhodonite and the Black is Manganese Oxide. This beautiful pink and black sphere comes with a free hematite ring stand for enhanced display. A classic, collectable specimen mined, cut and polished in Australia. As you can see the beautiful pink color really comes out in the full sun photos. Normally I’d only take a few pics but just couldn’t help myself – it’s stunning. The high quality gloss finish is shown off better from pics in the shade outside.

Jade, Top Shelf
TOP BLACK JADE ROUGH
A grade Top Black Jade Rough ready for a crafts person to carve or make jewellery with. This is genuine true black nephrite jade from Cowell, South Australia (the best Black Jade in the world). This variant of jade is becoming more popular and is used, in particular, for carving into super-lustrous pendants and jewellery. One of the toughest rocks on the planet. The Black colour is from an inclusion of Iron of up to 8%. This is the best specimen from a lot of 1000kg.
To be honest I was hoping to save this one for my self but have no time for cutting stones. The stone has three cut faces with a square corner which makes it easy to hold in a vice for diamond saw cutting. There is the expected slight green that you can see with a strong Jade torch. One face you can see is polished roughly to 3000. Some pics are with wet and dry stone to show the quality of colour and polish with great reflection. This stone is best polished with aluminium oxide then diamond to get the mirror finish. You can see the reflection of a beautiful flower in the polished window on this Jade Stone.
Cowell, South Australia, Australia.
28cm x 22cm x 16cm, 17500g.
Jade is a name that was applied to ornamental stones that were being brought to Europe from China and Central America. It wasn’t until 1863 that it was realized that Jade was being applied to two different minerals. The two minerals are both exquisite for the purposes that jade is put to task and are hard to distinguish from each other. Now both are called Jade.

AMAZONITE CRYSTAL CLUSTER
A super Amazonite Crystal Cluster. It features great crystal formation and aqua blue green colouration. Most Amazonite on the market these days is the massive, rock like type from Madagascar or Brazil, which often has a lot of iron staining and pale colour. This cluster stands out in comparison as a great collectible piece for the collector. This cluster looks much better in person and is a good size too. Amazonite is a popular mineral, which is hard to find in decent terminated clusters like this.

CHRYSOPRASE ROUGH CUTTING
Beautiful Chrysoprase Rough Cutting Aussie stone. An amazing colour for a rough stone of pale apple green. Once polished it will be quite striking. Usually reserved for jewellers, quality specimens like this are hard to come by and attract high prices. A great Aussie Gemstone. At 324g this is a larger specimen and worthy for any collection, but I think it will be made into jewellery. Some of the photos shown are back-lit with a torch to show the depth of colour and quality.

AUSSIE AMETHYST CRYSTAL
A great Aussie Amethyst Crystal. Good natural point and some iron staining around the base of crystal. Just as it was when it came out of the ground. Australian Amethyst is not all that common, and many people do like to have a piece from here. This piece has a great termination and fits well in the hand. The Purple is so dark it appears black on a cloudy day. This specimen was difficult to photograph. One pic is backlit with a torch, other pics taken out doors on cloudy and bright sun days. There are some interesting internal zoning patterns also visible in the photos.
