QUARTZ CHALCOPYRITE
A large Quartz Chalcopyrite Cluster. Many lovely snow white to clear crystals clustered together with Chalcopyrite crystals! Small chalcopyrite cubes appear throughout the piece. Some of the quartz points have other fine quartz crystals growing from them. A very beautiful piece of Quartz Chalcopyrite in top condition.

A major ore of copper. Common in sulfide veins and disseminated in igneous rocks.
Weathering may lead to the formation of malachite, azurite, brochantite, langite and numerous other secondary copper minerals.
