Q: What are your payment options?
A: When buying from the website we take credit card or bank transfer. To pay with a card click on the Paypal option (you don’t need a Paypal account). Otherwise choose the bank transfer method which will give you our bank details. If you wish to pay online and collect the item, rather than pay freight, choose the pickup option. Instore we have EFTPOS facilities and of course accept good old fashioned cash. Note if you are intending to pick up from shop, we need 24 hours notice as web stock is not stored in the shop.
Cheques are not accepted as payment in any form. Paypal cheques are not accepted either.
Q: Can I buy web items in the shop?
A: Not unless you have paid or ordered them first and selected the pickup option. That will remove the item from the website and alert us to your purchase.
Q: Is RocknCrystals open on public holidays.
A: Generally we will be closed on public holidays.
Q: Are the photos real?
A: We go to great effort to give you accurate photos and don’t enhance the images with the likes of photoshop, all we do is resize and crop – no enhancement.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Please see the About Us or Contact Us page for our shop hours. These do change from season to season. If you are coming from some distance you may want to check our Facebook Page. We will mention there and on website if we are unexpectedly closed for any reason.
Q: What currency are the prices listed in?
A: The prices are listed in Australian Dollars AUD$.
We are very professional and only sell online through our own website or bricks and mortar shop in Sydney. We have tried the likes of ebay many years ago and found these types of online shops are fraught with dishonest sellers and too many fakes. Also the likes of ebay take a large cut making the product more expensive and they don’t pay their fair share of tax.

Crystals may need cleaning if they are dusty, dirty or have accumulated some negative energies. This is done by holding or touching the crystal to be cleansed. Close your eyes and clear your third eye, think white paper or clear water to clear your third eye. Then project positive thought into crystal, say in your mind or out aloud “Crystal cleanse your self, be good and be free. Thank you”. Don’t forget to thank the crystal and this is best done when you are in a clear state of mind and in a good positive mood.
Full Moon Cleansing
Put Crystals to be cleaned in a window where the full moon light can bathe the Crystals overnight.
Washing Solid Crystals
Quartz and solid crystals can be cleaned in warm or cool water. Hot water can cause a crystal to crack, fracture or break from thermal stresses. Just run water from tap or hose over Quartz, this will clear all the dust away. You could use a mild dish wash detergent and scrub with brush then rinse.
Many Crystals like Calcite, Fluorite and Quartz will fade and bleach out in the direct Sun. We recommend not leaving bright coloured Crystals in the direct Sun for too long.
Straight into the essence here. The Greek word or letter Phi represents a ratio of 1:1.618 which is represented in many forms of humanity. This ratio is reflected in many symbols and monuments including most religions, the average distance of the Milky Way planets from the Sun. Ammonites and human bone lengths contain the 1.618 ratio as do military code encryption with prime numbers and the Fibonacci Sequence of 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144…
The there is the shape ratio of an egg, a fish. wheat, pine cone helix, DNA Helix and even our Universe in the shape of on Ammonite. Most of the megaliths like the Pyramids and ancient building facades incorporate this ratio. Other names for Phi are Golden Ratio, Golden Number, Golden Proportion, Golden Mean, Golden Section and Divine Section.
