A stunning cluster of unusually shaped Barite Crystals.  There is almost no matrix on this piece, just pure, well terminated crystals which make it an ideal addition to a collection.  Also known as Baryte, it is named after the Greek word for ‘weight’ which is considerable for a non-metallic material.  A very nice specimen with chisel shaped terminations.
