A fibrous calcite from Mount Papandayan, West Java, Indonesia. The material is made of radially grown fibrous calcite with a distinctive yellow, orange and black banding. The orange and yellow colours are mainly caused by finely dispersed Realgar. The black stain is caused by pyrite. Jasper is a misnomer as it contains no quartz.

Pale green in colour and grinded on one side to reveal its beauty. A valuable and stunning Aussie gem stone, regarded as the best of the Chalcedony family. This piece is from Queensland. Nickel is what makes this stone green colour.
A gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) that contains small quantities of nickel. Its color is normally apple green, but varies to deep green.
