MAGNET NEODYMIUM 48H
This Magnet Neodymium 48H is extremely powerful and not recommended for under 14 years old, to be honest only adults should even consider playing with one of these thumb hammers. Very tempting to play with and get your fingers stuck in when they snap together. A good customer who bought 2, is using them to help increase his Chi Flow.
Diameter 2.5cm x 1cm, 38g.
Neodymium Magnets are recently developed magnetic materials since the 1980’s, with magnetic characteristics far exceeding those of the Alnico and Ceramic/Ferrite types. They are alloys of the Rare Earth group of element-neodymium. The composition is Nd2Fe14B.
Magnets made from NdFeB ( Neodymium Iron Boron) are the most powerful permanent magnetic materials commercially available, Nd-Fe-B magnet is widely used in motor, instrument, aviation and the high-tech field.
Super-Strength Rare Earth Magnet—-Sintered NdFeB magnets, have the characteristics of :
Super strong Br Resident induction.
Excellent demagnetization resistance capability.
Good Price relative to its high magnetic properties.
Coating is needed for NdFeB (Painting, coating, or plating is therefore highly recommended for NdFeB. Plating NdFeB is a difficult process, and commercial plating houses are unlikely to be able to achieve plating with good adhesion. Nickel, Zinc, or Tin plating provides good corrosion resistance for NdFeB magnets.
NdFeB are available in sintered as well as bonded forms. Sintered NdFeB parts however, will produce the highest magnetic properties. NdFeB is sensitive to heat and should not be used in the environments that exceed 200 degree centigrade. Bonded NdFeB are generally low in properties due to the special process of gluing the powder in a mold.
NORTH SOUTH POLES
With permanent Magnets there is one main rule and that is opposites attract and the same repel. North pole is attracted to South pole and South pole will repel South pole.
The North pointer will be attracted to the magnets South pole and the South pointer will be attracted to the magnets North pole.
With no compass, just a sting and sticky tape
Tape the string to the Magnet and hang until it stops turning. The North face will face towards geographical North (because they say it’s really supposed to be the south pole). You could get a general direction of your North direction by googling your address and the top of the map will be the North direction.
Once you have a Magnet with the North pole labeled with N, you could use this to identify other poles. North pole will be attracted to South pole and South pole will attract to North pole.
On top of all this Magnets can be energised in several ways, but more on that one later.
These are very powerful magnets and can cause a lot of damage so be careful around credit cards and electronic equipment. Or they could just pinch your fingers and bruise them.
