SEA URCHIN ECHINOID
A Sea Urchin Echinoid from Australia. This is quite an attractive piece, great for a collector of Australian Sea Fossils. A real bargain too.
Sea Urchins are a group of marine invertebrates that today can be found in almost every major marine habitat from the poles to the equator and from the intertidal zone to depths of more than 5,000 metres. There are around 800 extant species and the group has a long and detailed fossil record stretching back about 450 million years ago.

FOSSIL HORSE TOOTH LARGE
A 2″ Pleistocene Fossil Horse Tooth Large size to add to your fossil or tooth collection. A Horse Tooth from the Gulf of Mexico where many fossils come from especially teeth. These are almost as rare as Hens teeth. The condition is fairly complete tip to root with hollow roots. Our friend pulled this Horse Tooth out from fossil hunt in South Carolina. There has been no repair or restoration. These teeth are commonly found associated with fossils from many other ice age mammals including Mammoths, Sloths, Camels, etc.

An ancient Fossil Baculite. These are super popular and affordable. Suitable for kids as they aren’t too fragile (for a fossil) and a great way to start or boost your own collection. Baculites, genus of extinct Cephalopods (animals related to the modern squid, octopus, and nautilus) found as fossils in Late Cretaceous marine rocks (formed from 99.6 million to 65.5 million years ago). SiO2 · nH2O.A colourless variety of Opal. Hyalite is opal, an amorphous silica glass containing about 3-8% water. Hyalite occurs as globular and botryoidal masses and irregular crusts. Found in volcanic and pegmatite environments where the silica deposits from the gas phase. It often shows a strong green fluorescence in UV light.

FOSSIL WHALE INNER EAR BONE 01
We do have a Fossil Whale Inner Ear Bone 01 for sale, some pics of this specimen on this page. They seem to have been of denser bone than the rest of the whale skeleton, so they were better preserved. The auditory bulla is a bony cover for the delicate middle ear bones and tissues. In humans it is part of our temporal bone. Whales have several adaptations in their ears for hearing underwater. Tympanic bone.

Carrollite is collected for its mineralogical rarity, rarity of sizeable crystals, unusual chemical composition as one of the relatively few cobalt-bearing minerals, high degree of cubic-crystal development, and associations in composite specimens with such minerals as quartz and calcite.
