DANBURITE CRYSTAL
DANBURITE CRYSTAL
A large sized Danburite Crystal with good termination. Slightly pink in colour and with some well formed Calcite growth over more than one side. It is hard to find Danburite in this size. A super collectable piece for the mineral collector or crystal healer. This mineral is getting a lot harder to find, possibly because of its location. With crystals similar to topaz, danburite offers a unique opportunity for a collector who likes perfectly transparent crystal clusters. People who admire clear quartz will like the different look of danburite. Its diamond shaped cross section and wedge like termination is a contrast to quartz’s hexagonal prisms and pyramidal terminations.

TEKTITE PHILIPPINITE LARGE
TEKTITE PHILIPPINITE LARGE
A Tektite Philippinite Large formation. Not quite a Breadcrust but close. This amazing piece was created after being fired into the Earth’s upper atmosphere, propelled by a meteorite impact. The size of a nuclear explosion would have melted the sand into molten glass. This liquid glass would have been accelerated into the outer atmosphere or space and then fallen back to earth. It would have cooled whilst traveling through the atmosphere then falling back to Earth. Tektites over 100g are uncommon. An oresome collector specimen.

SPINEL CRYSTAL
SPINEL CRYSTAL
Stunning little Burmese Spinel Crystal to add to your collection. This one is brightly fluorescent. A good size showing a partial classic Spinel Crystal shape which other minerals of the same shape are referred to. We picked this on up from a trip to Myanmar many years ago. The pics were from outside and under UVA. It is Chromium that makes Rubies and Spinels red in colour. The only difference between Ruby and Spinel is Spinel has Magnesium. The crystal shape is usually an Octahedron.
