Typical formations are rather thick crusts with a rough or crystaline texture. This particular specimen has the wonderful sort after green colour and prominent rose formations. A great Quartz Prehnite Cluster for the collection. A palm sized cluster of Quartz Crystals with globular light green Prehnite on top. Prehnite takes a few forms, we have others available quite different from this one. It is quite an unusual piece and very old stock, I haven’t seen this stuff about for many moons. Sits more or less flat and could also be put on a stand if in a cabinet.

An attractive collection mineral that is occasionally used for ornamental stone purposes and jewelery. This particular specimen has the wonderful pale green green colour and prominent finger formations. The white little balls are Gyrolite and this specimen is mounted on a perspex pad for enhanced display.
