Stunning Pyritised Ammonite Fossil specimen. This specimen is large and heavy to hold for it’s size in the hand. Fossil Ammonites with a natural formation of Pyrite are uncommon and only come from a few locations in the world. This is a natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. This number is also related to Pi and the Fibonacci Sequence.
