Here is a unique Chrysoprase Specimen, featuring outstanding colour as you can see from the photos.  This grade is usually reserved for collection to show great looking formation process.  Showing globules covered in Drusy with great colour and translucency inside little pockets of the matrix rock.  A true Aussie Gemstone.  At 692g this is a large specimen and worthy for any collection and will increase in value too as time goes on.  Some of the photos shown are backlit with a torch to show the depth of colour and quality.

This material was fossicked many years ago, the location is now closed for fossicking.

Chrysoprase.

Chrysoprase, chrysophrase or chrysoprasus is a gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) that contains small quantities of nickel.  Its color is normally apple-green, but varies to deep green. The darker varieties are also referred to as prase.
